StudentVIP

Dear Student,

Submit your short film (less than three minutes long) around the theme "Great Moments in Travel" and you could win an AU$10,000 round-the-world journey and the opportunity to check out Lonely Planet Television in action.

We are looking for your interpretation of a great moment in travel. It could be a chance encounter in a Parisian cafe, or swapping World Cup stories with a monk in Thailand. A life-changing sunset, or a guy falling off a chair at the backpackers. You don't even have to set foot on a plane to enter. It could be your favourite bar in your hometown, or the time you quit your job to go on your first trip overseas. Dig out some existing footage, or shoot something from scratch.

We're not looking for Oscar-winning cinematography. Shoot on your camcorder, mobile phone or digital camera - we don't care. Just use your imagination and upload your video.

Lonely Planet will feature the best videos throughout the year until the winner is announced in January 2007.
